Caldwell University Admissions Overview:

Caldwell University is largely open; only about 15% of those who apply will not be admitted. Students with good grades and test scores above average have a good chance of being admitted, especially those with a strong academic background and a range of extracurricular activities. To apply, students can use the Common Application (more on that below), or they can use the Caldwell Application, available on the school's website. Applicants must also submit transcripts, an academic essay, and two letters of recommendation.

Caldwell University Description:

Caldwell University is located on a 70-acre campus in Caldwell, New Jersey, just 20 miles from Manhattan. Caldwell is a private liberal arts university affiliated with the Dominican Order of the Catholic Church. Students can choose from 28 fields of study with psychology and business being the most popular among undergraduates. The university has a 11 to 1 student / faculty ratio, and Caldwell takes pride in the interaction between students and faculty. Caldwell has strong continuing education opportunities, and about half of the school's students are adults pursuing their degrees part-time. On the athletic front, the Caldwell Cougars compete in the NCAA Division II Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC).
